Founder Blu Gray grew up in northwest Colorado on a ranch where he learned to install and repair wire fence at a young age. After graduation from high school, he partnered with a friend and landed his first fence job that summer for a local coal mine to help pay for college. The following summer, he started his own fence company and focused mostly on government projects for the next four years while attending school. After graduating, Blu decided to continue fencing full time with Jaida (his wife) taking care of the office duties. He expanded into retail and contractor sales in 1999 then grew again in 2001, fabricating and selling vinyl fencing for both install and resale. His business flourished, and in 2005 it grew into a larger 30,000 square foot facility on 2 acres, where he now continues to wholesale a large variety of fence products with a focus on vinyl fence and accessories.
